Comprised of nearly 300 member clubs , the Virginia State Golf Association supports golf in the Commonwealth in all forms . Golfers can join the VSGA in several ways , and not just by signing up for a membership at your local green-grass facility . The VSGA ’ s online joinrenew program offers the opportunity to join a club ’ s handicap roster for a nominal fee . The VSGA also offers eClub memberships that include a Handicap Index and a VSGA-VIP Golf Card , offering access to great golf throughout Virginia and West Virginia .
In the coming pages , you ’ ll find a listing of those clubs , including key information on how to find and connect with those clubs , either over the phone , online , or through social media .
Many of these clubs are part of the VIP Golf Card Program that supports the VSGA-VIP Scholarship Foundation , which over the last 38 years has awarded $ 2.5 million to more than 1,000 students , all of whom share an interest in golf .
