2022 LPGA Tour Schedule
It ’ s not Players Championship money , but the winner ’ s share at the LPGA ’ s season-ending event — the CME Group Tour Championship — will grow to $ 2 million in 2022 , the largest first-place prize in professional women ’ s golf history . In all , $ 7 million will be distributed in the season ender , a significant step for women ’ s golf as the LPGA continues to work with sponsors new and old to raise the profile of women ’ s golf . In all , nine tournaments have announced purse increases for the 2022 season . With increased sponsorship comes the hope that the LPGA will gain more of a regular television presence in future seasons .

The winner will take one last plunge in iconic Poppie ’ s Pond . With Chevron taking over as title sponsor , the event will move to Houston starting in 2023 , ending a long run in California for the event that began as the Dinah Shore .

The national championship makes its return to North Carolina for the first time since Michelle Wie won at Pinehurst at 2014 . Pine Needles will be hosting the U . S . Women ’ s Open for the fourth time . Previous winners include Cristie Kerr , Karrie Webb , and Annika Sorenstam .

The Women ’ s PGA kicks off a long-term PGA of America commitment to the revamped Congressional Blue course , which will also host the 2027 Women ’ s PGA , the Senior PGA ( 2025 and 2033 ), the Junior PGA ( 2024 ), the PGA Professional Championship ( 2029 ), PGA Championship ( 2031 ), and the Ryder Cup ( 2037 ).
