THE NEW-LOOK PGA TOUR IS HERE, condensed, action packed and
ready to keep your attention before ending just before the pigskins begin
flying at the end of August.
The wraparound schedule began in the fall shortly after the U.S. team
licked its wounds from an ugly Ryder Cup experience in France. It ends
with a new-look Tour Championship in Atlanta on Aug. 25. The top 125
players will advance to the first playoff event, The Northern Trust, with the top 70 in the
standings after that tournament moving on to the BMW Championship. The top 30 will
qualify for East Lake.
