Theodore Grant Ambrose has been called by Ware Church, Gloucester, as rector. Prior to this call, Grant has served as assistant rector at St. Mary’s, Arlington. He began his new position in November. The Rev. John Branson has been called to be interim rector of Christ Church, Alexandria. Retired from the Diocese of Connecticut, he has recently served as an interim at Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest, IL. He will begin his term as interim in early January 2015. The Rev. Joseph “Joe” Hensley has been called as the rector of St. George’s, Fredericksburg. He will begin his ministry there in January 2015, after completing his service as assistant to the rector at St. Luke’s, Durham, NC.  The Rev. Barbara Marques has been called as the rector of St. John’s, West Point. She began her ministry there in December 2014. She comes to that position having most recently served as associate rector at Christ Church, Glen Allen. The Rev. Elaine Ellis Thomas has been called as the associate rector for St. Paul’s Memorial Church, Charlottesville. She comes from the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania where she has served as curate at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Lancaster, Penn. She is a graduate of the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University. The Rev. Kyle Tomlin has been called to be the rector of Church of the Messiah, Fredericksburg, and will begin his ministry there in mid-January. He has been serving as rector of the Church of St. Alban’s, Roxborough, Penn. The Rev.
