Their fleet of 12 purpose-built intimate ships welcomes

smaller-sized ships. Plus, PONANT’s global expeditions come
complete with Zodiac landings led by expert naturalist guides
for optimal wildlife encounters, and every ship in the fleet
carries the international “Clean Ship” label, which certifies
minimal environmental disruption, a rare distinction among
ocean vessels.
In 2021, the world’s first electric-hybrid, luxury polar
exploration yacht of its kind, Le Commandant Charcot, will
enter service. Charcot will take guests ever further into the
very heart of the Arctic and the Antarctic, including the
geographic North Pole, providing comfort and luxury even in
the coldest, most remote places in the world.
