Rogue River in Grants Pass, Oregon
is one of those spectacularly
beautiful places that comes as
a welcome oasis after travelling
north through the arid stretch of
the I-5 from California. As you cross the
border with the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it
“Welcome to Oregon” sign tucked away
on the hillside, the scenery changes
from the dry, drought-stricken plains of
northern California into mountainous
acres of forests and Cottonwood trees
that can create a snow-like effect when
they bloom. It’s like a sweet sigh of relief
from Mother Nature. Ah Oregon! You are
so very, very pretty!
