camp area was mysteriously “redecorated”. The poor
Lindsay’s returned to scenes of mayhem and chaos with
scattered bottles strewn around and the poor “baby”
dangling over a sign with a Leyburn Sprints cap on its
head giving the impression that a much bigger party had
been had the night before.
All jokes aside, it really was a top weekend with a
great bunch of people. It was great to get a visit from
Kiwi vintage vanner Peter Nunn, who came all the way
from New Zealand just for the weekend to check out
how us Aussies do our events to take back to NZ. Nice
effort Peter! Big thanks to the entire Leyburn Sprints
Committee for creating yet another very well-organized
and entertaining event and to all those of you who made
the effort to drive out west to come and visit us all. VCM
