We are excited about the prospects for our hybrid “ Art with Flair ,” both live at the Charbonneau Country Club Nov . 5 , 6 and 7 , and online for the months of November and December . Thanks to the success of the 2020 Virtual Festival of the Arts , adding the virtual component to the live event is already set up and just a matter of resetting it for 2021 . Artists , artisans and musicians will have an opportunity to participate live only , online only , or both . Plus , the always-popular silent auction , our biggest fundraiser , will run live at the country club for the three days of the event , adding to the fun of bidding and with the goal of allowing us to raise more money for the students . Festival chair John McLain , wants to especially highlight student art and to make this a “ wow event ” that encourages attendees to buy art , artisans ’ wares , silent auction items and to donate for the kids .

Great pumpkin progress report
Benjamin Mefford reports that The Biggest Pumpkin Project continues ! Another 1,250 pounds of granite has been removed . Meanwhile , as the sculpture gets smaller , some new models are growing larger as Benjamin takes the opportunity to teach his daughter about gardening by growing pumpkins from seeds .
