previously, was rather confused with the
situation and all three required extra support
for several days and after a week they were
able to join the other new calves with their
mums; the twins may be smaller but are
having great fun playing with their new
mates.

A window in the April weather did allow for
the Farm Yard Manure (FYM) to be spread
on the grass fields and with the following
week’s rain and the warmer late April
temperatures, the grass has finally started to
grow, hopefully allowing the cattle to escape
their winter confines soon, they cannot wait,
nor I!
