A Christmas Carol
I had begun to think that there was no story
of which TOADS could not make a
pantomime, but I must admit I thought
Dickens was perhaps a challenge too far. I
should have had more faith: they could, and
they did, produce a show which delighted
the audience and could be one of their best
so far.
A splendidly horrible Scrooge was changed
convincingly into a jolly old man, thanks to
the ghosts, who were quite scary, and the
story ended happily.
