presented with a bunch of watercress and a
chocolate lolly from the Alresford Chocolate
Company. The concert was followed by tea
and cake and £743.50 was raised, to be
shared equally between the Mary Sumner
Chapel project at St. Mary's Church and the
Salvation Army.

For two weeks during Advent there will be
sheep to be found in Alresford shops.
Because this event is being organised by
Messy Church don’t be surprised if they are
not normal-looking sheep! Messy Church
meets every 3rd Saturday in the John
Pearson Hall from 4 - 6pm, for craft fun,
worship and tea which includes jam donuts.

SINGING OF
THE CHOIR
CHANTAGE, former BBC Choir of the Year
and leading London Chamber Choir, were in
concert at St. Mary's Church, Old Alresford
on Sunday afternoon 4th November. They
performed a wide variety of a cappella,
unaccompanied choral music which was
greatly appreciated and enjoyed. As a token
of thanks and as a memento of their
