Patient Forum and Virtual
Patient Participation Group
The Patient Forum met during June and we
are currently thinking about which services
the surgery needs to consider for review
and improvement. If you would like to be
involved in this process but cannot attend
meetings please sign up for our Virtual
Patient Participation Group. By doing
this you will be able to give your views and
opinions to help improve the services we
provide. Sign-up forms are available from

Online Appointment Booking
It is now possible to book your blood test
appointments online.
Please go to
www.patient.co.uk and click on the
‘Patient Access’ button. You will be led
through the sign up process to book your
first appointment. When you have booked
this appointment you will be asked to bring
some photo ID to the surgery (when you
attend your appointment would be a good
time to do this) when the receptionist will
verify your identity and complete the signup process allowing you to book further
appointments and order prescriptions from
your medical record.
Staff Changes
We are delighted to report that Dr Alex
Rose has completed his GP training with
24
flying colours. Dr Rose will continue to offer
some surgeries as a locum over the
summer but will soon be leaving us.
Dr Sam Frith will also be leaving us this
month. Dr Frith is going on to gain further
skills and experience in various hospital
departments before completing her GP
training.
Dr Sarah Hargrave will be joining us in early
August as GP Registrar. Dr Hargrave is in
the final stage of her GP training and we
look forward to welcoming her to our team.
Childhood Immunisations
There have been a number of changes to
the childhood immunisation schedules.
The new programme is now available on
our website (see ‘Family Health’) and the
nurse will discuss the changes with you
when you attend with your child.
