Choir and ACC were accompanied by the
Hampshire Youth Choir and over 250 primary school
pupils conducted by Alexander L’Estrange.
ACC included the piece in their summer concert at St
John’s in Alresford at the end of June (visit website
www.alresfordchoir.com) .
Then on July 13th the Hampshire Youth Choir sang
the work as the finale of their concert at Holy Trinity
Church, Gosport.. Historical note: The
accompanying historic organ contains pipes from the
original organ played by Handel himself when he
was Musician in Residence to the Duke of Chandos.
