Villa Parent Organization
We are so lucky to have the involvement of all our parents here at the Villa through their engaging and enthusiastic support of the Villa Parent Organization ( VPO ). Through strong connections and an inclusive focus , the VPO board provides financial and volunteer opportunities that enrich our educational programing through the support of the faculty , staff , and administration .
A time-honored tradition at the Villa — May Party .
VPO plans and executes numerous educational and social events throughout the year , such as Grandparents Day , Catholic Schools Week , Everybody Counts Week , and COSI , just to name a few . The organization also hosts Graduation and First Reconciliation receptions , manages the coordination of room parents and lunchroom duty , provides 3rd-grade recorders , and organizes the popular Halloween Trail , Elves Shelves , and May Party .
To thank our supportive administration , faculty and staff , VPO also hosts a welcome back luncheon in August , a staff appreciation soup lunch , and thank you gifts during Catholic Schools Week . Each month this past school year , room parents coordinated the celebration of every teacher ’ s birthday by providing desserts served in the teachers ' lounges . And to demonstrate their focus on offering our teachers the tools they need to do their job , the VPO provides financial support to every teacher to meet specific classroom needs .
This long-standing support system of parents is vital to the overall vibrancy of our school . The VPO encourages all Villa parents to learn more about the various opportunities available to them . The Villa is our community ; let ' s continue to ensure that the Villa thrives today and is sustainable for the next generation of families .
