The only thing we’re doing in this school is study what we don’t want to study and finding a little bit of a refuge in talking about our changeable feelings... ...What is our greater purpose? Why this Island of all places? Our lives are only about grades. What have we really ACCOMPLISHED? We live here where the Sun is the center of everything. But it really isn’t. Our so brilliant star can’t be distinguished among all those other much magnificent stars far-far away. We’re just one of 7 Billion people, how will we be any different from them? Juxtaposed to them we are awfully miniscule specks of dust which do not matter much at all... ... ... So, do you think she likes me? Nah. Even if we do accomplish something — anything — no one will ever remember it. And when the universe dies no one will remember this human race which thought it did so much.
