SWOT ANALYSIS

OPPORTUNITIES:

Plus Size Range- introduce a range including bigger sizing in order to open up to a completely new demographic.

International Expansion - there are so many ways Victoria Secret can expand into different countries. It will increase brand awareness by having more stores across the globe.

Differentiation - using different ways in order to promote both VS and PINK to indicate that they are really two separate brands.

THREATS:

Rise of High Street Retailers - high street stores like Topshop and River Island are catching up and producing fast fashion lingerie at a smaller price.

Plus Size - a lot more companies such as ASOS and River Island have introduced a Plus Size lingerie which allows them to branch out to a completely different customer that Victoria Secret cannot do.
