VICKSBURG WARREN SCHOOL DISTRICT *
The Mississippi Department of Education’ s Office of School and District Performance produces annual school and district grades based on an A-F accountability or grading system. The Vicksburg Warren School District is proud to boast a B grade.
The 7,300-student district has three high schools, three junior high schools, 10 schools for kindergarten through sixth grade and one alternative school for kindergarten through 12th grade.

REGISTRATION
Registration is open each year until school begins. Visit the school your child will attend or call the district office at 601-638- 5122. To be enrolled in pre-kindergarten, children must have attained their fourth birthday on or before Sept. 1 of the current year. To be enrolled in kindergarten, children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. For first grade, a child must be 6 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the current year.
Verification of age shall be made by a certified birth certificate. All minor students enrolling in the district must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A certified birth certificate, Mississippi Certificate of Immunization Compliance Form No. 121, name and address of the former school attended, a social security card, and the legal home address of the parent or guardian must be presented at the time with two documents showing proof of residency.

PCA is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools( SACS) and by the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools( MAIS). MAIS member schools are assigned accreditation ratings.
