FROM CLASSROOM TO CAREER, VWSD PREPARES STUDENTS
In 2018, the Vicksburg Warren School District introduced a strategy to help students select a path for life after high school graduation. The plan is called the“ 4 E’ s” and represents the choices of“ Enrollment, Employment, Enlistment, or Entrepreneurship.” A student must choose one to prepare for graduation.
" The ' 4 E ' s ' are our way of helping students maximize their potential and truly live out who they want to be after graduation," said Dr. Tori
Holloway, Superintendent of the Vicksburg Warren School District. " Whether they choose Enrollment, Employment, Enlistment, or Entrepreneurship, our goal is to ensure that every student leaves us with a clear path forward and the tools to succeed in life."
During their 9th-grade year, students will select an exit strategy from the " 4 E ' s." This will help them plan for the next 4 years. A student planning to attend college, " Enrollment," will continue their studies,

" It ' s a lot of money to go to college. It would save and help a lot of my family ' s burdens to go to RCEC. I like to push myself, and I thought RCEC would be the place to do that. It is challenging, but I think that ' s what sets it apart. Accountability is a big part of RCEC. And I love my teachers."
