Vicksburg is home to a vigorous entrepreneurial spirit.

Two Vicksburg businesses, True Heart Candles and United Cleaners, shared their stories about their paths to success. They are just some of the many successes of entrepreneurship in the community.

UNITED CLEANERS United Cleaners is a family-owned dry cleaning business that has been serving the community for 96 years.

The business was founded in 1929 by Louis A. Pichetto, a World War I veteran. The first location was on the corner of Washington and Clay streets.

Today, it is co-owned by Andrew Amborn, Robert Amborn Jr., and their father, Robert Amborn Sr.
