one for adrenaline myself, but there’s pushing it to
the max and just pushing it to stupidity. You won’t be
laughing long when you have no legs to stand on for
awhile... or ever. If you’re inexperienced. Snowmass or
Buttermilk may be more appropriate for you as they
are more forgiving.
Think that you’re fine without. Going down the
mountain snowboarding or skiing is calorie intensive
and the sun hits brighter reflection thanks to the
snow on even the cloudiest days, so make sure you
take care of number one. Which, amigo, is you.

Take a day or two off. Pace wins the race. And while
relaxing, take a visit to the Aspen Club & Spa to really
unwind after a brutish day on the hill!
Take in the other sights and sounds. Aspen has more
than just snow and mountains. There is plenty other
to do. With shopping, dining, and a whole load of
other events right at your doorstep, it definitely
makes that off day off the mountain, a much more
enjoyable one. Try hiking in Castle Creek or if visiting
in March there’s the Aspen Fashion Week you can go
to. If you prefer more contemporary, you can visit the
Baldwin Gallery as well to gander at some fine art. Or
craving more adventure? You can do some outdoor
rafting as well.

Overdo it instead. As stated above, don’t challenge
yourself to something you are not ready for. In the
same vein as you shouldn’t attempt Death Con
Mountain Five, if you aren’t ready, you also shouldn’t
attempt Bunny Hills, twelve hours straight. That is
going to pucker you out quick and then you may cut
actual mountain time short.

Drink plenty of water and eat regularly.

Forget to have some fun while you’re there!
Sometimes a last minute trip can be super exciting,
amazing, great, or whatever adjective you want to
place here. Most times though, it can be stressful,
very stressful. So don’t forget to take a step back and
enjoy yourself for the adventure of possibly your life!
Have A Great Time! Until Next Time!
