Annual Dinner

The silent auction at VHEDC’ s annual dinner, sponsored by Frandsen Bank & Trust, raised $ 2,630 for VHEDC’ s workforce programs.

ANNUAL DINNER SPONSORED BY FRANDSEN BANK & TRUST

VHEDC wants to take this opportunity to thank the numerous sponsors whose generous support of our annual dinner make the event possible. Our presenting sponsor for 2025 was Fransden Bank & Trust, which filled this role for the third year in a row.

“ The VHEDC fosters the business community, which leads the economic development. In reality, that is the engine that drives your community. We view our sponsorship as being a way to help the organization do its work,” said Kevin Kelly, Market President, Frandsen Bank & Trust.
“ Investing in our community is one of our core values here at Frandsen Bank & Trust. We are happy to support the VHEDC in any way we can,” added Megan Dohmen, Vice President /
Treasury Management Services at Frandsen Bank & Trust.
In addition to sponsoring the annual dinner, Frandsen Bank & Trust is also very involved in VHEDC’ s annual golf tournament. Dohmen, who is VHEDC’ s immediate past president, chairs the golf tournament committee.
Other bank employees fill important roles for the organization too. Rebecca Longen, the bank’ s customer service representative supervisor, is on VHEDC’ s annual dinner committee; and Pat Gherity, a wealth advisor at the bank, chairs VHEDC’ s investor relations committee.
The VHEDC isn’ t the only nonprofit in the community Frandsen Bank & Trust supports. Kevin Kelly serves on the boards of the Vadnais Heights
Area Community Foundation and the Century College Foundation.
Caleb Peterson, Assistant Vice President / Business Banker, serves on the board for the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce. Rich McNamara, Executive Vice President of Commercial Lending, is on the Finance Committee at Merrick, Inc.; and Rebecca Longen is involved with the Northeast Metro Rotary.
In addition, bank employees have volunteered at several food packing events for the White Bear Area Food Shelf. They also help with the Lions’ annual toy drive.
Frandsen Bank & Trust, Vadnais Heights, has served the community since 2019 after taking over the former People’ s Bank Midwest.
