VHEDC celebrates
VHEDC CELEBRATING 40TH ANNIVERSARY
IN 2024
Hard to believe , but the Vadnais Heights Economic Development Corporation ( VHEDC ) is celebrating 40 years in existence this year .
The organization ’ s beginnings are credited to retired City Administrator Gerry Urban , then former Vadnais Heights Mayor Henry “ Hank ” Tessier , Jr ., and Ron Glassman , former co-owner of Tousley Ford and currently President and CEO of Tousley Motorsports Inc . Together they envisioned Vadnais Heights as the next suburb likely to experience massive growth , and founded the organization as a tool to assist with economic development .
IC System Director of Corporate Marketing Eric Johannes served as 2019 VHEDC Board President .
Gerry Urban was one of the VHEDC founders . VHEDC is in its 40th year of serving the Vadnais Heights and Northeast metro business community .
Ramsey County Director of Workforce Solutions Ling Becker addressed the 2023 VHEDC Annual Dinner . Becker served as VHEDC Executive Director for five years .
