“ When I started at Merrick , Inc ., I was hired as a direct support professional . About two years in , I applied for a promotion into a role of being a lead direct support professional , and then about a year ago the opportunity arised for me to become the Assistant Program Director ,” she said .
For the past 19 years , Wold has been working with people who have disabilities . She credits Merrick , Inc ., with really helping her grow and showing her a company that truly follows its mission . She is thankful for the opportunities she has had since her arrival .

Erin Olson , 37 , of Fridley is the Senior Director of Strategic Research at RealTime Talent , a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate the alignment of the talent in our various communities with the actual needs and demands of employers . She has been with the organization since its beginnings in early 2016 .
Her first job at RealTime Talent was to work as a part-time contractor , and do some exploratory research to determine reliable sources for insights into what is happening in the labor market . Within six months of starting at the company , she was promoted to the role of Research Strategist . A few years later she became Director of Research , and is now RealTime Talent ’ s Senior Director of Strategic Research .
