VHEDC hosted its annual dinner on November 9 , 2023 , at Vadnais Commons in Vadnais Heights . This event celebrates its members ’ accomplishments , recognizes winners of the annual business awards , and raises funds through a silent auction .
Our guest presenter was John Marshall , Xcel Energy Regional Vice President , who spoke about building a carbon-free energy future . We greatly appreciate the numerous sponsors who helped make this event happen , including Frandsen Bank & Trust , an active member of VHEDC for several years .
Along with supporting the annual dinner , Frandsen provides volunteers for VHEDC ’ s yearly golf tournament , including Megan Dohmen , Vice President , chair of the Golf Tournament Committee , and Caleb Peterson , Business Banker , chair of the VHEDC ’ s Investor Relations Committee .
Frandsen also supports many other nonprofits in the community . Kevin Kelly , Market President , serves on the board of Vadnais Heights Area Community Foundation ; Rich McNamara , Vice President of Commercial Lending , is on the Finance Committee at Merrick , Inc .; and Will Reinhardt , Mortgage Banking Officer , has been involved with the Vadnais Heights Rotary .
In addition , bank employees have volunteered at several food packing events for the White Bear Area Food Shelf , helped with the Lions ’ annual toy drive , and assisted Girls on the Run – a nonprofit that helps young girls develop life skills .
Frandsen Bank & Trust , Vadnais Heights , has served the community since 2019 after taking over the former People ’ s Bank Midwest . “ One of our core values is to support our communities . Being involved with VHEDC helps build a vibrant business community , which in turn helps make the community a better place to live ,” said Kelly .
