VADNAIS HEIGHTS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION HOSTS SUCCESSFUL COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR
The Vadnais Heights Economic Development Corporation ( VHEDC ) recently orchestrated a thriving Community Health Fair , showcasing over 25 booths representing Northeast Metro healthcare providers . Held on April 4 , 2024 , from 3 to 6 p . m . at Vadnais Commons , the event served as a beacon of hope and rejuvenation for the community after enduring the challenging circumstances of the past four years , particularly during the pandemic . Members of the community were able to experience the health fair that provided a vital platform for healthcare providers to connect with residents and offer valuable insights into their services . From preventative care to specialized treatments , the booths offered a comprehensive overview of the healthcare options available in the region .
“ The Community Health Fair was an opportunity for us to come together as a community and showcase the resilience and dedication of our healthcare providers ,” remarked Liz Moscatelli , Executive Director of VHEDC . “ After the trials of the past few years , it was inspiring to see our community come together to prioritize health and well-being .”
The event boasted extensive promotion and offered an array of screenings , ensuring attendees had access to essential health assessments and information . Vendors were on hand to distribute literature and engage with visitors , fostering meaningful discussions about healthcare options and resources .
“ The Health Fair Committee was integral in making this first event successful . The committee of Linda Thompson Carpenter , GCO Law ; Patty Steel , Press Publications ; Cindy O ’ Donovan , Right4 Your Business and Megan Dohmen , Frandsen Bank & Trust , collaborated to create a winning combination for the vendors and attendees ,” said Moscatelli .
