It ’ s going to transform this old , blighted , vacant , polluted property into a real high-class development that ’ s located on a visible gateway area of our community ,” said Simonson .
In 2024 , there will also be some significant road construction happening along Hodgson Road . The road is being updated by Ramsey County from Highway 96 to Gramsie Road / Rice Street to include a curb and gutters , sidewalks and trails , and upgraded intersections .

The four story building will have a mix of one , two , three and four-bedroom apartments , as well as ground-level amenities and one level of underground parking .
Roers Companies has approval to develop a new five-story , 150-unit market-rate development over belowgrade parking on the properties located at 1136 and 1160 Frost Avenue East . The apartment building will include a mix of studio , one bedroom , one bedroom plus den , two bedroom , and three bedroom apartments . All units will have either a concrete patio or a recessed deck . One level of belowgrade parking along with surface parking will be provided . Amenities will include a clubroom , fitness room , roof deck , outdoor pool , pickle ball court , and dog run .
