White Bear Lake ribbon cutting donation to White Bear Lake Area Education Foundation
2022 was a year of growth for Royal Credit Union and we were excited to open many new offices in Minnesota to better serve our Members . In May , we opened a new office in Inver Grove Heights . In September , we opened new offices in White Bear Lake , Hugo , and Stillwater , as well as our Lake Area Mortgage loan production office in Arden Hills . Most recently , we opened a new office in St . Paul in November . We now have a total of eight offices across the Twin Cities Metro area ready to meet the personal and business needs of our Members .
As we transition into 2023 , we are celebrating 30 years of our School $ ense program . School $ ense is a program that operates 30 studentrun credit union locations in grade schools , middle schools , and high schools throughout Royal ’ s footprint in Wisconsin and Minnesota . Student savers who participate learn the excitement of reaching their goals , whether it is seeing their savings account balance grow or saving up the stamps they receive for each deposit to earn a prize . Students who work for our School $ ense program learn valuable life lessons , such as how to apply and interview for a job , responsibility , and financial skills .
Another way that Royal Credit Union gives back is through the Royal Credit Union Foundation . When a Member uses their Royal debit card , Royal donates up to 5 cents to support local organizations in our communities . The RCU Foundation supports capital projects benefitting the arts , education , and health and has awarded more than $ 7 million in grants to nonprofit organizations in Wisconsin and Minnesota .
