Every year , the VHEDC hosts a dinner event where we celebrate the accomplishments of our members , hold a silent auction and recognize the winners of our annual business awards . Our 2022 annual dinner took place the evening of September 15 at Jimmy ’ s Event Center in Vadnais Heights .
Our guest speaker was Ted Clark , C . O . O . at H . B . Fuller . He spoke about the importance of passing it along and the art of mentorship . H . B . Fuller is a leading global adhesives manufacturer with offices , labs , manufacturing , and warehouse facilities all over the world . The Vadnais Heights campus , which has recently been restructured to provide collaboration and individual workspaces for hybrid workers , accommodates up to 650 full-time employees across a variety of businesses and functions ,

In December 2022 , Celeste Mastin became President and Chief Executive Officer , succeeding CEO Jim Owens , who has retired .

Mastin has more than 30 years ’ experience in manufacturing and distribution with a successful track record of guiding companies ’ growth through innovation , service improvement , global expansion , and acquisition . Mastin was recently named by the editors of Twin Cities Business as one of the 100 People to Know in 2023 , where she joined a small group of woman CEOs leading public companies in Minnesota .

IC System Wins Best Places to Work in Collections
IC System is proud to announce that insideARM has named it one of the Best Places to Work in Collections for the second year . A leading independent news and information provider for the collections industry , insideARM designed this award program to identify , recognize , and honor the best places of employment in the collections industry .
Companies across the U . S . entered the rigorous two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Collections . The first part evaluates each nominated company ’ s workplace policies , practices , philosophy , systems , and demographics . The second part entails an employee survey to measure the employee experience . The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking .
