Vets. Our last couple months on Vets On Media has been a perfect home for Tactical 16 Radio and our guests. We are keeping with our commitment to showcase Veterans. We look for Vets who take their talents from the battlefield to screen, print, radio and other entertainment platforms. Our first couple guests were Mikal Vega and Geoff Reeves. Both men are former Navy SEALS who have turned to acting. Collectively men have been in big Hollywood hits such as the Transformers trilogy, G.I. Joe Retaliation. Mikal is now staring in the web series “Black” and Geoff races in the Grand Am Continental racing series.
Tactical 16’s own veteran authors Chris Hernandez and Rob Lewis have been on the show talking about writing for Tactical 16 and also Iron Mike Magazine. Chris and I talked about becoming a writer, his book “Proof of our resolve” and the commitment that goes along with it. Rob and I talked about bacon, health, his book “Love me when I’m gone”, food and whatever else a former Green Beret turned author and podcast host wants to talk about. Iron Mike magazine creator and writer Bryan Dolch was also on one of our shows. Bryan and I talked about whisky, cocktails and starting his own magazine.
