When I Met My Sister
When I met my sister, life was in time, Before, a child was left solitary. My toys were stiff and still, for they were just mine, For a while my life was ordinary.
This changed when I saw a small miracle, My heart paced as I saw a sleek, sweet smile. The way she laughed was rather lyrical, Though years of isolation, she’ s worthwhile.
So, now I share my toys as we giggle, Or we may hug if melancholy. Life is no longer a cold icicle, Instead, it’ s more like a pleasant lily.
That sentimental day was my prime, For when I met my sister, life was in time.
