The stifling air and the toxic fumes , The sweltering heat and the creeping dunes , The world ’ s lungs are ablaze like a pyre , The desolation spreads , an all-consuming fire .
Our oceans weep tears as black as the night , Our waters pervaded , a wretched sight , Our ecosystems are wasting away , The desolation spreads , our world decays .
We ’ ve exploited our planet for our greed , Earth is withering , an hour of need .
But together , we have the chance to change things , Together , Earth will once more spread its wings .
