PROTOTYPES (3D PRINTING) Services Verus is equipped with an Objet Eden 260V 3D Printer that can reach horizontal layers of 16µ (0.0006”). WHAT CAN BE DONE? With 3D printing, your imagination is literally the boundary to what is possible. Whether you want to make a complex prototype of a block engine or an intricate eye popping character model from your favourite video game, we can make it. As long as you supply the model! HOW DOES IT WORK? 3D Printing involves the laying down of material layer by layer to create a part. The process uses two materials, the material of the model and a support material that holds everything u p. When a print is complete, it needs to be cleaned, which involves the removal of the support material. To clean a part, one of our operators will use tailored tools to carefully remove all support material without damaging the part. When this is complete the model will be carefully wrapped and shipped to you. WHAT MATERIALS ARE AVAILABLE? We carry an extensive stock of materials* and these are available in different colours. Durus White (Polypropylene-Like) Vero White (Stable Plastic) Vero Black (Stable Plastic) Vero Clear (Stable Plastic) VeroGray (Stable Plastic) Tango Gray (Rubber-Like) Tango Black (Rubber-Like) *For a complete listing of materials available, please contact us, as new materials are being added all the time. HOW DO I GET A QUOTE? There are a few simple steps involved in getting a quote: 1) Make sure your model is in Parasolid format (most 3D modelling software will allow you to export in this format). 2) Make sure the model is under 10MB (if it is larger then give us a call or drop us an email and we will arrange an alternative method for recieving your model. The absolute maximum file size has to be under 100MB). 3) E-mail your model to [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a quote or guidelines on changes that may be needed.
