Jay Peak Nordic Center
In close proximity to our Canadian
neighbors, the Jay Peak Nordic Center
offers more than 12½ miles of trails with
rolling hills, steep pitches, and winding
trails. The West Bowl Nordic Trail boasts
routes desirable for fat biking as well as for
cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Fellowship of The Wheel
This nonprofit organization encourages
and maintains more than 100 miles of
public, multipurpose trails with seven
trail networks in seven towns within
Chittenden County. The trails feature
beautiful views of nature as well as
historical sites and are open to anyone to
ride from the designated parking areas.
Cady Hill Forest
Part of the Stowe Trails Partnership, Cady
Hill Forest is considered their flagship
network. Astonishing views, diversity
in terrain, and proximity to the town of
Stowe make this trail system one of the
most popular in Vermont. Both skilled and
novice riders can enjoy the trails and their
varying levels of difficulty.

Viking Nordic Center
Londonderry, Vermont is home to one of
the oldest cross-country ski centers in all
of North America. The soft and smooth
ground on their inner trail system,
combined with the more difficult extended
loops throughout the woods, welcomes
beginners and experts to ride their fat
bikes on the many trails.

Mad River Riders
Located in the Mad River Valley, Mad
River Riders have created a spectacular,
multipurpose network of trails spanning
nearly 50 miles. The Blueberry Lake trails
are perfect for beginners and experts.
Check out the trails at Eurich Pond,
Chase Brook Town Forest, Camel’s
Hump, and Phen Basin State Forests,
which offer more technical routes.

Stratton Mountain Nordic Center
Stratton’s 12 kilometers of trails are open
daily in the winter and are the perfect
introduction for those who are new to fat
biking. Their system of routes that wind
through the woods in the Sun Bowl base
area provide a quiet escape to explore

available.
