Christopher Gendron Company: Stantec Title: Project Manager Age: 31 Career highlights: I’m most proud of seeing Waterbury Main Street being constructed, a project I worked on that contributes toward making the community of Waterbury safer, more sustainable, and economically viable. Community involvement: My colleagues and I volunteer at local charities including Habitat for Humanity, Local Motion, Lund Family Center, and several others. Additionally, I’m president of the Vermont ASCE chapter where I donate my time to connect the local civil engineering community. Vinny Petrarca Company: The Blue Stone Restaurants Title: Owner Age: 35 Career highlights: Opening the first Blue Stone is the thing I’m most proud of. It has led me down an entrepreneurial path and given me the opportunity to pay it forward by being a mindful employer who supports my staff as if they are my family. Community involvement: I am the Chair of Revitalizing Waterbury, a nonprofit in Waterbury. We support businesses, local economy, growth, and art while trying to grow the community and draw more businesses to our town to increase quality of living.
