As Ed explains, “The B in B Corp stands for benefit corporation.” That means that on every level—from the grass that’s grown to feed our cows, to the customers who we serve on the other end—we act in a responsible way. Sustainability, carbon footprint, employee healthcare—it’s all part of the B Corp assessment and we’re very proud of our B Corp status.” In line with the B Corp philosophy, Cabot farmers use cutting-edge renewable energy technologies and practice sustainable agriculture. In addition, as a co-op owned dairy business, Cabot is run by its farmers for its farmers, who each have an equal say in the company’s decisions.
