years as one of the region’s outstanding
independent booksellers, with 10,000
square feet of space and three floors to explore at its
flagship store in Manchester Center, VT. In 2013,
a second store with 9,000 square feet of space and
two floors was opened in Saratoga Springs, NY.
There are more than 30,000 titles in stock in each
bookstore. Each year, Northshire Bookstore hosts
more than 300 events of every type and genre,
and has been named Bookseller of the Year by
Publishers Weekly and Best in New England
by Yankee Magazine; both stores have received
the WNBA Pannell Award for Excellence in
Childrens’ Bookselling.
