In May 2020 , I received a very unexpected email . The author , Geoffrey Morris , wrote :
“ As publisher of Berkshire Magazine … I would like to say hello . We have sold many of our titles , but the sale of Berkshire Magazine fell through . Are you interested …?”
I wrote back immediately : “ Yes !”

So , what exactly do we do at Old Mill Road ?
The corporate answer is : Development , Production , Distribution , and Promotion .
But I prefer the term , “ storytellers .” We are storytellers .
And as a team , we are positioned to share those stories ( the community ’ s stories ) on every media platform : in print , in the digital versions of our publications , via e-blasts , via podcast , via our radio shows , and on social media .
We are also able to create and promote large scale multi-organizational community initiatives , ( such as the 4 Freedoms Festival and The Lincoln Trail ) and produce live events . Some live event highlights include the Broadway in Vermont concert series at the Southern Vermont Arts Center and the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Raiders of the Lost Ark at Norman Rockwell Museum , featuring Karen Allen .
