Opened to the public in early 2024 , this charming boutique inn , situated in a historic 1800s Vermont Farmhouse , offers a lavish and colorful retreat that blends rhapsodic charm with modern mystique . Just up the road , visitors will find The Sparkle Barn , a delightful shop that beautifully parallels the Inn ’ s sparkling spirit . Both establishments serve as marvelous embodiments of the passionate creativity of their owner , visionary entrepreneur Stacy Harshman . Through her work at The Sparkle Barn and the Sparkle On The Rocks Inn , Harshman has crafted spaces that captivate and inspire , bringing joy and wonder to all who visit . Upon entering the Sparkle On The Rocks Inn , guests are immediately struck by the effusive visual energy that permeates throughout the property . Each of the five bedrooms has its own distinctive character , infused with scintillating personality and dynamic beauty . The “ Prairie Girl ” room creates a soothing ambience with delightful decor , while the “ Glam Garden ” room boasts a plush bed nestled among botanical motifs and garden-inspired elements . Custom furnishings , fine bedding , and carefully selected artwork abound throughout the inn , which features a collection of paintings and artisan pieces that include some of Harshman ’ s mesmerizing original pieces .

Guests can wake up in a comfortable bed , enveloped in a striking , bucolic sanctuary . As the morning light filters through the windows , breathtaking Vermont landscapes await outside . The common areas at Sparkle On The Rocks Inn are equally enchanting . The Dining Room features an antique table surrounded by carved wood pieces and painted canvases , which emanate both eye-catching style and countrified elegance . “ I love these carved pieces and the rustic feel they bring to the room ,” notes Harshman . The “ Fairy Garden Room ,” decked out with vintage fairy prints and sparkle pillows , offers a fantastical retreat . Guests can relax in the parlor , adorned with Turkish rugs and Italian lamps , or unwind in the music and meditation room , which is equipped with yoga mats and an electric piano for music therapy .
Harshman ’ s meticulous eye for design is evident throughout the inn , exemplified by a common area featuring a gold sunflower lighting fixture , handmade mosaic mirrors , and beautiful Namda rugs . “ I love lighting ,” says Harshman . “ I like to think of it as the jewelry of a house , and I ’ m particularly fond of our lighting fixtures and how they accentuate the rooms .” The inn ’ s outdoor spaces are equally inviting . Guests can wander the 17-acre grounds , walk down to a picturesque pond , enjoy a favorite beverage on the enclosed patio , and relax in the refreshing Vermont air .
