Rooms to Remember
Each of the six guestrooms at the Harvest Barn Inn possesses its own unique charm . The “ River View ” room stands on the first floor . Guests who book a stay there are treated to breathtaking vistas of the Connecticut River from an outdoor porch , which is directly connected to the room . Inside , antique furniture and intriguing decorative accents , such as colorful throw pillows , add a touch of history and allure . “ Some of the pieces were inherited from
family ,” says Kaelan . “ A lot of our favorites came from Windham Antique Center in downtown Bellows Falls and other great antique and consignment spots in Westminster , Newfane , Keene , and Westmoreland .” Guests will find tranquil refuge in the “ Mountain View ” room on the second floor , where soft , muted tones and textures create a soothing ambiance . Pillows with intricate stitchwork rest on an antique bench , which stands around the corner from a beautifully-appointed bathroom with a bright , newly-tiled shower .
