Established in 2019 , The Rural Innovation Network is a nationwide community of enthusiastic changemakers that are unified in their collective pursuit of local digital economic betterment . Through the Rural Innovation Network , they are able to share strategies and support one another through the process of creating vibrant digital ecosystems in their respective communities . In addition , Rural Innovation Network members are granted access to rural economic development expertise , national partnerships and resources , economic mapping and data analytics tools , and digital job training programs .
