Each spring, the Vermont Bar Foundation solicits grant requests, checks its
funds, and determines how to continue
funding the various nonprofit organizations
providing needed civil legal services and
education to low-income Vermonters. Each
spring, the Foundation looks at the reports
and stories of how its funds are used to
support access to justice in Vermont.
The Foundation could not do this work
without the contributions by members of
the Vermont bar and others. Although IOLTA provides the bulk of the Foundation’s
funding, that funding alone is insufficient.
