MESSAGE

WELCOME TO
VERITA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL!
The role of this publication is to share just a
few of the many stories about the things that
make our school special. As you will discover
in the following pages, VIS approaches
learning from multiple perspectives. We do
so, in an attempt to provide endless paths for
our students to grow in their understanding
of themselves and the world around them in
new and exciting ways. In this edition the
role of student choice, voice and agency will
begin to resonate. Our aim is to develop the
skills that our students will need to be
successful in the next few decades. As is
often quoted:
"We are preparing our students for many
jobs that currently do not exist!"

With this thought in mind our fantastic staff
have been generating interesting investigations
and enquiry opportunities. It is by thinking
outside the box that so many of the great
problems which have faced the human race
throughout history have been solved. It would
be fantastic to think that some of our scholars
could be those minds of the future, solving the
conundrums which affect our daily lives.
So enjoy the stories, reports and poetic license,
Reflect upon the chance to help your child make
history.
Believe in the future that all our children can
create
And keep the desire to learn burning as a stellar
trait!
