The Sterling Event Center is one of three venues located at The Emerald Event Centers in Joplin , MO . It has a two-room construction that makes it a one-stop location for getting ready , ceremonies and receptions , hosting up to 400 people . The black , sleek look of the venue paired with it ’ s brick walls gives your wedding day a bold look unlike anything the area has to offer . Side balconies provide extra space for guests and lead to an outside deck that overlooks the outdoor ceremony area with a pergola and small pond in the background .
