OVER , ABOVE , BEYOND
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic , Honors program students
Haley Slaughter , a Nursing major , and Jessica Bizzoco and Hannah Steier , both Graphic Design majors , were inspired to collaborate on a project to develop an educational booklet for children explaining how the immune system works . The booklet that they created together was presented to Emmorton Elementary School in Harford County , MD .
