Women ’ s lacrosse advanced to the MAC Commonwealth Championship game and earned an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament . The senior-laden Mustangs earned their first NCAA Tournament win in program history against Meredith , while Kaitlyn Kozlowski and Caroline Murphy picked up IWLCA ( Intercollegiate Women ’ s Lacrosse Coaches Association ) All-Region honors . Kozlowski , the MAC Commonwealth Midfielder of the Year , was named to the 2022 IWLCA Senior All-Star game roster after setting the single-game , season , and career record for draw controls .
Senior Iddriss Iddriss made his third trip to NCAA Nationals for the Mustangs this season , finishing 11th nationally in the 800m . Iddriss set a school record earlier in the 800m , while sophomore Nathan Williams rewrote the Mustang record book in the throws . As a team , the Mustangs collected 96 combined top 10 marks in Stevenson history between the indoor and outdoor track seasons . Additionally , Stevenson track & field had 18 total All-Conference selections with 10 All-Region honors .
Stevenson women ’ s ice hockey secured its third-straight MAC title with a marathon shootout victory against Arcadia at the Reisterstown Sportsplex . KaliJo Zagula scored a backhander goal in the 12th round of the shootout , securing the title for the Mustangs . Trinity Barcless repeated as MAC Offensive Player of the Year , while head coach Tori Emoff earned MAC Coach of the Year accolades .
Men ’ s basketball coach Gary Stewart officially began his appointment as the new NABC ( National Association of Basketball Coaches ) President , joining the likes of coaching legends Mike Krzyzewski , John Thompson , and Dean Smith to hold the position . His role as President is to provide strategic oversight of the NABC .
The Mustang acrobatics & tumbling team officially became the 28th varsity sport at Stevenson , competing in the team ’ s inaugural meet in February 2022 . Senior standout Allison Trinks won the NCATA ( National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association ) DIII Invitational championship in the individual aerial pass .
Josh Brannan picked up Second Team All-American honors , one of five USILA ( United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association ) All-Americans for the Mustang men ’ s lacrosse team . Brannan was the MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Year with Nolan Enneguess receiving Specialist of the Year laurels . Stevenson won 13 games in 2022 , advancing to the MAC Commonwealth championship game . Head coach Paul Cantabene was announced as an inductee into the inaugural Premier Lacrosse League Hall of Fame in February .
Women ’ s golf had a trio of All-MAC Second Team selections , including Casey Oppenheimer , Amanda Perez , and Megan Miguel . The Mustangs finished third at the Conference Championship event held at Golden Oaks Golf Club .
Men ’ s ice hockey set a new program mark with nine consecutive wins during the stretch run of the regular season while receiving votes in the final USCHO ( US College Hockey Organization ) DIII Poll . Senior Ryan Patrick became the program ’ s all-time leader with 87 points , tying the program ’ s assist record ( 63 ). Junior goalie Ryan Kenny became the program ’ s all-time saves leader , picking up UCHC Goaltender of the Year and MAC Defensive Player of the Year accolades .

Olivia Coleman picked up All-MAC First Team honors for the Stevenson women ’ s basketball team , impressively surpassing the 1,000-point and rebound milestones in 2021-22 . Matt Reich racked up the awards for the Stevenson baseball team , earning two All-Region accolades in addition to his MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Year and All-MAC Commonwealth First Team laurels .
Marissa Heuer fired a pair of no-hitters in the circle for the Stevenson softball team , which advanced to the MAC Commonwealth Tournament . Megan Hamp garnered All-MAC Commonwealth First Team and NFCA ( National Fastpitch Coaches Association ) All-Region Third Team accolades for the Mustangs .
Stevenson men ’ s tennis reached the MAC Commonwealth championship match in 2021-22 , picking up a pair of first team All-MAC Commonwealth honors for Larry Johnson III and Ben Porto . Additionally , JJ Bonta and Torrienne Emery secured All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team laurels .
