Nicolette Stoner is working as the Foundation and Community Relations Coordinator for the Philadelphia Union, a Major League Soccer team. for the Hilton Baltimore as a Credit Manager and Danny works as a business teacher in the Baltimore County School System. He is currently enrolled at Goucher College and expects to receive a Master of Education degree in fall 2016. The couple became engaged at Christmas 2014 and are expecting their first child in June 2016. Charlie Taylor is working at Employer Assurance Solutions in the Marriottsville, Md., office where he interned while a student. He is taking the life and health insurance exam to become an independent agent. Megan Rose married her high school sweetheart, Michael Safko, on April 11, 2015. Susan Youngren, Ph.D., Adjunct Professor of Biology at SU, caught the bouquet. Morgan Threat has joined the Maryland Air National Guard as a Network Intelligence Analyst. 2014 Nina Brown received the RN OB certification in October and is now a certified obstetrical nurse teaching at Prince George’s Community College. In Nov. 2015 Morgan Buckingham took on a new role as the Marketing Coordinator for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Her primary responsibility is promoting retail tenants and the property at The Avenue at White Marsh through social media and public events. Morgan writes that this has been an extremely rewarding experience. Layla Thompson married Kyle Koch on Oct. 10, 2015 in a small ceremony surrounded by family and close friends. The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas. She works as a Digital Designer at University of Maryland Baltimore County and is studying for a Master of Fine Arts degree in Integrated Design at the University of Baltimore. Layla writes that her education and experience at Stevenson greatly prepared her for her current position. SAVE THE DATE Alumni and friends of Stevenson enjoyed the evening’s entertainment at the Bull & Oyster Roast on March 6. From the photo booth and inflatable tug of war contraption to the live music of Whiskey Train, a good time was had by all. 2015 Jessica Barley is working at Brightview Senior Living in Towson. She completed an internship at Brightview while a student at SU. She is also a student and graduate assistant in the applied gerontology master’s program at Towson University. Jessica writes that she went through four interviews for the position and felt totally prepared because of her business communication courses at SU. Kayleigh Guzek was selected to participate in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 14th annual “So You Want to Be a Coach” program held in April in conjunction with the WBCA Convention in Indianapolis. The objectives of the program are to increase understanding of skills necessary to secure coaching positions in women’s basketball as well as increase awareness of competencies necessary for success in coaching. Kayleigh is working on a master’s degree in business and technology management with a focus on leadership and serves as a graduate assistant in SU’s sports information office. STEVENSON Kerri Wojciechowski is working in the Comprehensive Transplant Unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital where she cares for patients who receive liver, kidney, pancreas, hand, and face transplants. She has been at Hopkins since 2012. In her spare time Kerri is a travel agent with Pixie Mouse Travel specializing in Disney destinations. Nichole Young is working as a Laboratory Assistant in the DNA section of the Prince George’s County Crime Lab.
