The Great Oaks Society takes its name from
the oak trees that were rooted on the land
that is now the Greenspring campus. Known
for their magnificent stature and long life,
these namesakes forever connect Great Oaks
members to Stevenson University and remain
symbolic of the strength and stability that
philanthropic gifts provide to the University.
Members of the Great Oaks Society have
included Stevenson in their estate plans
through the contribution of stock or other
securities, through a charitable bequest or
through a charitable gift annuity.
