CLASS NOTES
1967
Sally DiPaula’ 67 had a new novel, Captain Moretti’ s Daughter, was recently published by Nicholson Press. The Young Adult mystery is set in 1960 and mainly takes place on an Italian freighter captained by her father. It describes the adventures of 15-yearold Francesca( Frankie) Moretti, a bright teenager longing to be with her father and determined not to let anything or anyone stop her, not even a murderer on board. Her efforts to find him begin in the port of Baltimore, continue in New Orleans, and then on the ship as it crosses the Atlantic.
2007
Brandon Holthaus was also recognized on June 21, 2025 for work on the documentary Racing Rivals: Log Canoes of the Chesapeake. Brandon won a Capital Emmy award for the category, EDITOR – PROGRAM.

Marissa Miller( Meiklejohn)( Women’ s Lacrosse) was inducted into 2024 Dick Watts Hall of Fame.
Samantha( Lewis) Perillo( Women’ s Volleyball) was inducted into 2024 Dick Watts Hall of Fame.
2002
Jocelyn( Koller) Bunting was promoted to Senior Lecturer in the Biological Sciences Department and serves as Co-Coordinator for the Forensic Science Concentration at Salisbury University.
2005
On June 21, 2025, Patrick Keegan was recognized for work on the documentary Racing Rivals: Log Canoes of the Chesapeake. Patrick won for the category, CHESAPEAKE HERITAGE- LONG FORM CONTENT.
2012
On June 7, 2025, Nicholas Farano married Bridgette Price.
Shantay Jackson is the first Director of the National Offices of Violence Prevention Network. Shantay will be responsible for the strategic evolution of the Network’ s support to OVPs, including growing its membership, cultivating a leadership pipeline, coordinating with national and local TTA partners, and assisting with jurisdictional institutionalization of offices.
