WOMEN ' S
HIGHLIGHTS
Acrobatics and Tumbling had three student-athletes named to the National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association( NCATA) DIII All-Tournament and DIII Tournament All-Academic teams. Junior top / tumbler Annabelle Rossow was named All-Tournament First Team and All-Academic Team. Junior base Allyson Ozimek was named All- Tournament Second Team. And, junior base Emma Breznak was named to the All-Academic Team.
Rossow and Ozimek also set a new program record in the postseason against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, scoring a 9.15 on a 10.00 start value, qualifying them for event finals in that heat.
Women’ s Beach Volleyball earned their second straight bronze finish at the AVCA Division III Small College National Championship with victories over the University of Lynchburg and Hendrix College.
Women’ s Golf first-year Alexis Marsh was named to the All-MAC Second Team at the MAC Championship. Marsh and fellow first-year player Nisachon Sillence were also named as Women’ s Golf Coaches Association( WGCA) All- American Scholars. The two are part of just under 1,500 student-athletes from 403 programs who were recognized.
Three Women’ s Lacrosse studentathletes received All-MAC Commonwealth Honors: graduate student Kara Yarusso was named Midfielder of the Year and was named to the First Team; graduate student Sophia Murray was named to First Team; and first-year Olivia Galati was named to the Honorable Mention squad.
The Women’ s Lacrosse team was also named to the Intercollegiate Women’ s Lacrosse Coaches Association( IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad for the 2024-25 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the Women ' s Lacrosse team posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. Six student-athletes— junior Anna Johnston, junior Marisa Massimini, graduate student Sophia Murray, graduate student Erin Steinberg, senior Natalie Storm, and graduate student Kara Yarusso— were also named to the IWLCA honor roll.
Six members of the Softball team were named to the 2025 All-MAC Commonwealth Softball Team. First-year Alexis Kirkessner, graduate student McKenzie Tobler, junior Rebecca Maiorano, first-year Sahara Ward, and sophomore Ava Stafursky were all named to the All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team, while graduate student Mykaela Getz earned Honorable Mention honors.
Two members of the Women’ s Tennis team were named to the 2025 All-MAC Women’ s Tennis team: graduate student Ariella Stepleman and sophomore Shelby Carter both were named Second
Team selections. In a separate award, six members of the team— junior Bethany Luckett, junior Tiffany Njemanze, first-year Georgia Ngang, sophomore Yana Vaiman, sophomore Kara Chwang, and Ariella Stepleman— were named 2025 Division III Women’ s Intercollegiate Tennis Association( ITA) Scholar-Athletes.
