Kadena Marina USS EMMONS SPECIALTY CERTIFICATION The purpose of this specialty course is to provide a richer understanding of the circumstances and suffering of the USS Emmons and her crew in and around Okinawa in 1945 by visiting and observing her wreck. Divers will prudently plan deep dives to 130 feet. This dive is open to all ages 15 and over. Please talk to Kadena Marina staff for more details. You must have both a Deep Dive and an Enriched Air Nitrox Certifi cation with proof of at least 25 logged dives after Open Water certifi cation. Recommended Equipment: Delayed surface marker buoy with reel, dive slate, and appropriate, well-maintained scuba equipment.
